The Washington Trust Bank Sandpoint Summer Series is Sandpoint’s only family friendly and FREE music series. The 2019 series is comprised of 3 concerts at Farmin Park in Downtown Sandpoint, each on the third Wednesday of June, July, and August. In addition to nationally touring artist, there will be child activities, beer/wine garden, Kombucha, and food vendors, and yard games. Please no dogs or outside alcohol.

Cascade Crescendo- June 19, 2019

Cascade Crescendo is a high-energy bluegrass, jamgrass and Americana band hailing from Portland, Oregon. The group formed in 2013 with original members Hunter White (lead vocals, guitar), Taylor Skiles (upright bass) and Aden Beck (mandolin, vocals). Duluth, Minnesota’s native son Harrison Olk (banjo, vocals) joined the band in 2015. Cascade Crescendo’s debut album, “Caught in the Rain," appeared in 2016 to warm reviews. The group toured throughout the United States in 2017, expanding their fanbase well beyond their Pacific Northwest home. Cascade Crescendo has performed at festivals across the U.S. including Boats and Bluegrass in Minnesota, YarmonyGrass in Colorado, Silver Cloud Campout in Montana and Northwest String Summit in Oregon.

On February 15, 2019, Cascade Crescendo released their second album, “Chasing the Sun.” The album features returning guest performances from Allie Kral (fiddle, Yonder Mountain String Band) and Nick Werth (drummer, Yak Attack). Cascade Crescendo will tour throughout 2019 in support of their new album with major festival appearances including Bender Jamboree and Blue Ox Music Festival

With vocal comparisons to Janis Joplin and Grace Slick and guitar work likened to Jimi Hendrix and David Gilmour, Jocelyn & Chris Arndt took their new record to #1 on the Jambands Top 30, cracked the Billboard Triple A Top 40, and earned a national TV debut on NBC’s Today Show. The siblings, both recent graduates of Harvard University, have balanced college with performances coast to coast and recordings featuring special guests G. Love, Gov’t Mule’s Danny Louis, and Cory Wong of Vulfpeck.
