2018 Jack Frost Fest

This year’s Jack Frost Fest will be the 2nd of many more to come. This event is developing into a community gathering focused on community, great music, tasty food, drinks, games, and activities for all ages. We will gather in early December to get a reprieve from the cold outside yet get excited for the opportunities it affords.

We will have great artists playing music that dips and dives into many genres from folk to blues, to western roots, funk, soul, and more! Check back in on November 1st for the full lineup of local, regional, and national bands!!!

In addition to great music we will have food for purchase from Sandpoint Curry, beverages served by Eichardts including Upside Kombucha, face painting with Pend Oreille Arts Council, games, nonprofits spreading the good word, and vendors.

Below is the music lineup from 2017, it will be a hard one to top!

Cheers to Ullr!!!

A funk brotherhood of lifelong friends and collaborators, Shakewell is returning to the Panida Theater to thump out funk, neo-soul, and rock’n’roll. This Missoula based group will be closing out the evening with another stellar dance party in the Panida!

Moonshine Mountain

This high energy group from northwest Montana has developed a reputation for keeping the dance floor packed with intelligent songwriting, harmonies, and a contagious stage presence. Those of us that that enjoy live Americana music will not want to miss Moonshine Mountain's performance!

The Sasha Bell Band

Sasha Bell is a multi-faceted performer and musician most heralded for her sweetly melodic vocals and lithe instrumentation. Her style invokes classic 60s groups and contemporary artists alike with a pop centric sound. Mattox Farm is excited to welcome her, and her Missoula based band, to the Panida for their first time.

Mattox Farm is honored to host Sandpoint's own BareGrass for their initial performance in the Panida Theater! BareGrass has developed a versatile style of bluegrass that is sure to get this party started off on the right note.

We are excited to have some amazing partners joining us for Jack Frost Fest. Along with fundraising, these organizations will be giving us a taste of what they have to offer over the winter season. Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center, Selkirk Outdoor Leadership and Education, the Panida, and Schweiter's Ski Patrol Avalanche Dog program will all be at Jack Frost Fest!!!
