The Two Tracks
From rock to country, bluegrass to folk, the music helps define the sound of superbly crafted, fully assertive Americana. Their harmony-rich songs often add cello to a solid groove, creating a unique ambiance that’s all their own. With a journeyman’s attitude and storytelling that audiences relate to, The Two Tracks create a sound that all at once typifies a timeless style birthed in the heartland while infusing in a modern flair.
The Hawthorne Roots are a 4-time award winning, sister fronted roots rock n' roll band from Bozeman, Montana. The group brings a soulful and energetic performance to the stage, every lyric sung with passion and authenticity. Their genre defying original material is built off of soulful vocals, three part harmony and guitar riffs reminiscent of bands like The Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks, and Fleetwood Mac. Their uniquely branded "Revved Up Roots Rock" genre has gained momentum and admiration within the northwest community and beyond.
The group tours heavily in the western region, working tirelessly to build their brand and expand their audience. The band is currently on tour promoting their debut EP, "On Second Thought" released June 2018.
Browne Salmon Truck
When one mentions blues around Sandpoint it is inevitable that Browne Salmon Truck will come up. They are a local staple for obvious reasons, Samantha’s vocals are powerful and captivating, Truck adds guitar riffs that move the soul, and Drew Browne is calm, cool, and collected until the moment is right for him to blow you away with the base. Their sound and vibe are both soulful and spontaneous, a perfect fit for Jack Frost Fest!
With roots in Rustbelt sensibilities, Western North Carolina tradition, and the Pacific Northwest wilderness spectacular, Brendan Kelty has cultivated a soulful sound drawn from gritty travel, wilderness living, and personal relationships; simple real and honest.
We are excited to have some amazing partners joining us for Jack Frost Fest. Along with fundraising, these organizations will be giving us a taste of what they have to offer over the winter season. Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center, Selkirk Outdoor Leadership and Education, Pend Oreille Arts Council, Sandpoint Nordic Club, and Schweiter's Ski Patrol Avalanche Dog program will all be at Jack Frost Fest!!!
