2018 Jack Frost Fest

This year’s Jack Frost Fest will be the 2nd of many more to come. This event is developing into a community gathering focused on great music, tasty food, drinks, games, and activities for all ages. We will gather on December 1st to get a reprieve from the cold outside yet get excited for the opportunities it affords.

We will have great artists playing music that dips and dives into many genres from folk to blues, to rock, funk, soul, country and more! Below you will learn about a great music lineup consisting of local favorites and bands that have toured all over the pacific northwest and the country.

In addition to great music we will have food for purchase from Sandpoint Curry and The Hound Downtown, beverages served by Eichardts including Upside Kombucha, face painting with Pend Oreille Arts Council, games, nonprofits spreading the good word, and vendors.

Cheers to Ullr!!!

Hawthorne Roots

The Hawthorne Roots are a 4-time award winning, sister fronted roots rock n' roll band from Bozeman, Montana. The group brings a soulful and energetic performance to the stage, every lyric sung with passion and authenticity. Their genre defying original material is built off of soulful vocals, three part harmony and guitar riffs reminiscent of bands like The Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks, and Fleetwood Mac. Their uniquely branded "Revved Up Roots Rock" genre has gained momentum and admiration within the northwest community and beyond.

The group tours heavily in the western region, working tirelessly to build their brand and expand their audience. The band is currently on tour promoting their debut EP, "On Second Thought" released June 2018.

Browne Salmon Truck

When one mentions blues around Sandpoint it is inevitable that Browne Salmon Truck will come up. They are a local staple for obvious reasons, Samantha’s vocals are powerful and captivating, Truck adds guitar riffs that move the soul, and Drew Browne is calm, cool, and collected until the moment is right for him to blow you away with the base. Their sound and vibe are both soulful and spontaneous, a perfect fit for Jack Frost Fest!
